This funky self powered radio is the latest addition to the Freeplay range. It’s innovative design means that it can be powered by a choice of alternative energy sources which means you’ll never have to buy batteries again.

The new Freeplay radio can be operated by winding it up (approximately 30 seconds of winding for up to 35 minutes playtime), or simply place the radio in direct sunlight to charge its solar panel or run it from the mains.

This radio is both smaller and lighter than it’s predecessors and unlike earlier models it can be wound while the radio is in operation. It also comes complete with a rechargable adapter, with a full charge it will play for up to 25 hours.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, for sports fans, beach bums, gardeners, children, campers and caravanners, gadget-fanatics and followers of fashion.
